The Book for Children program, organized by Sbooks and the e-book platform Bookas, is a long and continuous journey with activities of receiving old books that are still valuable, classifying them, and handing them directly to children in remote areas, especially difficult areas, or areas heavily affected by natural disasters and floods.
Books for you - giving love
With the philosophy of “Books may be old – but knowledge is never old”, the program aims to turn each old book into a new door, opening the world for children who have never had the opportunity to access full knowledge.

Everything started from the real life story of Sbooks General Director Nguyen Anh Dung . Born in a poor rural area, a mountainous district in the North Central region, from childhood to grade 12, he did not have much access to books. After going to Ho Chi Minh City to read, Dung often went to used bookstores at Bay Hien intersection (Ho Chi Minh City) and had his first access to the world of books from there. Joining more trips to the Central Highlands, flooded rural areas, understanding the lack of books and once, in addition to giving Sbooks books, Mr. Dung also called for about 1,000 notebooks to sponsor children in flooded areas 2-3 years ago, so he wanted to expand it into a large program, and decided to set up this project. In addition to giving away books, the Organizing Committee will deduct 1,000 VND from Bookas' revenue to set up a fund to buy notebooks for children in remote areas.
The organizers will hold many talk shows to mobilize donations of books and school supplies for children in remote areas.

Regarding the mission of spreading knowledge to areas lacking books and learning conditions when participating in the Book for Children program, Reading Culture Ambassador Trung Nghia said: "When giving away a book or giving away love, you will receive joy. Books have value when you finish reading them, and that value is multiplied when you do not just put them on the shelf but give them to places that need books. Children in remote areas will receive those books with new joy when they receive them...".
Proud to be accompanying the program, singer Duyen Quynh, the voice of Continuing the story of peace , shared: "Love is not a moment, but a continuous care. Duyen Quynh is very happy that Books for Children has become a long-term program, so that the help is not interrupted. This is a way for us to continue writing the story of sharing, of hope, not only during the school year but throughout the journey of growing up of the students".
