On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung expressed his deepest gratitude for the attention of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the General himself to Thai Nguyen province.

Luong Ngoc Quyen High School was established in October 1946, the first high school in Thai Nguyen province and the whole Viet Bac region. Over the past 80 years, tens of thousands of students have grown up from this school, and have been contributing to the development of the homeland.

General Phan Van Giang visited the classroom, talked and encouraged the staff, teachers and students of Nha Trang Secondary School.

Nha Trang Secondary School was established in 1956, initially named Thai Nguyen Town Primary and Secondary School . Later, because Thai Nguyen City was twinned with Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa Province), the school changed its name to Nha Trang Primary and Secondary School, now Nha Trang Secondary School.

Nha Trang Secondary School and Luong Ngoc Quyen High School are the two schools where General Phan Van Giang attended junior high school and high school from 1972 to 1975 and 1975 to 1978. Returning to visit the school that was associated with his student years, General Phan Van Giang was moved and proud to see that both schools had promoted their glorious traditions, always being the leading flag in the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning of the Education and Training sector of Thai Nguyen province; the prestige and quality of teaching and learning of the two schools were maintained and increasingly improved.
At the schools, General Phan Van Giang expressed his joy at the tradition of studiousness, solidarity and achievements that teachers and students of the two schools have achieved over the years. The General emphasized: Education is always the top national policy, the foundation for building and protecting the Fatherland.
