(HNMO) – The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 158/KH-UBND on the implementation of the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, replacing the Plan No. 146/KH-UBND issued on May 25, 5.
Accordingly, the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development (the planning agency) shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Planning and Architecture, the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and other agencies. Departments, departments, city branches, People's Committees of districts, towns urgently implement the work of formulating the Hanoi Capital Planning.
The Department of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility for advising on contents related to the state management of planning; closely coordinate with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and city departments and agencies in the formulation, appraisal and approval of the Hanoi Capital Planning; acting as the contact point with specialized agencies of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in guiding the organization of planning, organizing the appraisal and periodically reporting progress.
The Department of Planning and Architecture, the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in collaboration with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research, the contents related to spatial organization, setting up a system maps and drawings during the formulation of the Hanoi Capital Planning; ensure that the contents of the overall adjustment of the Hanoi Capital Master Plan are in sync with the Hanoi Capital Master Plan.
The Department of Finance shall coordinate and guide the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research in carrying out procedures and professional expertise in the field of finance and budget.
Departments, departments and branches of the city continue to review and evaluate the planning of sectors and fields in charge of the 2011-2020 period; providing data for the formulation of the Hanoi Capital Planning; coordinate with Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and consulting units in the process of surveying, researching and proposing planning orientations.
People's Committees of districts, towns continue to carry out the formulation of the Hanoi Capital Planning according to their assigned functions and tasks, have the responsibility to coordinate with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and consulting unit in the process of surveying, researching and proposing planning orientations.
The City People's Committee requires the heads of the assigned units to take the initiative, coordinate in implementing the work contents with the spirit of urgency and seriousness, striving to complete on schedule, ensuring the quality of the Capital Planning.
