Statistics show that Canada's population growth rate in 2022 was estimated at around 2.7%, the highest since 1957. Also last year, immigration accounted for 96% of the country's population growth. Statistics Canada predicts that if the current population growth trend continues, Canada's population could reach 50 million by 2043.
