The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Son Tinh, term 2025-2030 took place at a time when all levels, sectors and armed forces of the province are striving to successfully carry out tasks in implementing the policy of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on reorganizing the local military organization to be "lean, compact, and strong", meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The Congress marked the birth and unification of the Party organization system in the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Son Tinh, which is a historical turning point, an important step, ensuring the absolute and direct leadership of the Party over national defense and military work; has profound political significance, affirming the sentiment, responsibility, solidarity and determination of cadres, party members and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Son Tinh in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Regarding the leadership direction for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Son Tinh determined to focus on building a clean and strong Party Committee in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres; comprehensively strong agencies and units that are "exemplary and typical"; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and the contingent of cadres and Party members.

Focus on leading the successful implementation of national defense and military tasks, focusing on building a solid defense zone; improving the quality of training and combat readiness; proactively coordinating in natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area. Ensuring unit stability and absolute safety in the area, creating a stable environment for socio-economic development.
