The Provincial People's Committee Party Committee was established under Decision No. 2092-QD/TU, dated February 10, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee. Currently, the Party Committee has 34 grassroots party organizations with over 3,700 party members, which is a Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee, under the direct, comprehensive and regular leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; at the same time, it is the direct superior Party Committee of grassroots party organizations in specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, a number of state-owned enterprises, central agencies and units located in the locality.
Steady start
After officially coming into operation from March 1, 2025, the Party Committee has issued working regulations, unified leadership methods to ensure synchronization and discipline; quickly completed and stabilized the organization, promoted the role of Party committees at all levels in comprehensive leadership and direction in all fields.
Since its inception, the Party Committee has always focused on Party building in terms of politics , ideology, organization and ethics. Resolutions, guidelines and policies of the Party and the State have been disseminated, thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented to all cadres and party members. Along with that, the Party Committee has focused on leading and directing subordinate party organizations to continue to improve their capacity and innovate leadership methods; improve the quality of cadres and party members; promptly arrange and stabilize the organizational apparatus after establishment; issue working regulations and assign tasks within the Party Committee; transfer party organizations and party activities to party members according to their authority.
The Provincial Party Committee has promoted its leadership role in implementing key tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and foreign affairs, achieving many positive results. In the first 6 months of 2025, the province's GRDP is estimated to increase by 8.37%, achieving the target assigned by the Government; budget revenue is estimated at over 7,300 billion VND, reaching 80.6% of the central budget estimate, 73.9% of the provincial budget estimate, up 47% over the same period; disbursement of public investment capital reached more than 42% of the plan (up 10.4% over the same period). The fields of culture, health, education, and social security have changed positively; the high school graduation rate reached 99.08%; the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses completed 6,494/6,508 houses, reaching 99.78%, and will be fully completed in August 2025. National defense and security are ensured, national border sovereignty is maintained; foreign affairs are strengthened.
In the context of reorganizing the apparatus according to the 2-level local government model, with a large workload and complex nature, the Provincial Party Committee has resolutely directed the branches and affiliated party committees to coordinate implementation to ensure quality and progress; after the reorganization, operations were stable and smooth. From the end of May to the end of June 2025, the branches and affiliated party committees successfully organized the congress for the 2025-2030 term, creating a widespread political activity in the entire Party Committee.
These initial results are a solid foundation for the Provincial Party Committee to confidently enter a new term with new requirements and tasks.
Solidarity and determination for Lang Son development
The 1st Congress of the Provincial Party Committee was held under the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", with the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee; a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient state administrative agency; promoting democracy, tightening discipline, taking decisive action; promoting the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; building Lang Son into an economic center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region".
Entering the new term, the Party Committee sets the goal of building a clean and strong Party Committee; organizing a streamlined, effective and efficient political system; maximizing potential and advantages, mobilizing and effectively using all resources, promoting rapid and sustainable economic development; and implementing 25 targets in all fields.
To realize the goal, the Provincial Party Committee focuses on leading and directing the synchronous and effective implementation of 5 groups of tasks on Party building and the political system; 3 groups of tasks on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and foreign affairs; along with many solutions to promote emulation, rewards, and development of agencies, units, enterprises, and socio-political organizations; at the same time, identifying 6 strategic breakthroughs in infrastructure, border gate economy, tourism, industry, science - technology - digital transformation, and development of high-quality human resources.
Ahead is a new journey with great goals, heavy but also glorious tasks, requiring the entire Party Committee to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity of will and action; strongly arouse the spirit of innovation, creativity, self-reliance and aspiration to rise up. With firm belief in the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the united efforts of all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers, the Party Committee of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee will definitely turn determination into action, turn aspirations into reality, successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress, contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of the province, together with the whole country, firmly step into the era of national rise.
