Tuyen Quang is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, the "Capital of the Liberated Zone", "Capital of Resistance", the red address of the people of the whole country.

Urgently prepare for the great national festival

This is also a strong affirmation of the historical role and sustainable development aspirations of a land rich in revolutionary traditions.

The exhibition will officially open on August 28 at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), an opportunity for Tuyen Quang to shine among the "picture of achievements" of the whole country, not only with its historical glory but also with its modern and innovative vitality.

These days, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang, the unit assigned to carry out the exhibition booth, is rushing to complete the final preparations. The atmosphere at the unit is always vibrant, filled with a sense of responsibility and pride.

Ms. Ma Thi Thao, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: "To have a high-quality exhibition, the first and also the main foundation is the collection and selection of documents. The Department has reviewed the entire treasure trove of valuable documents at the museum, all photos, films, manuscripts, historical artifacts were carefully examined and evaluated."

Each photo, each manuscript page, each sacred relic is carefully selected, ensuring authenticity, historical value and suggestive depth.

These are pictures of Uncle Ho when he was in Tuyen Quang, the "Liberated Capital", images of revolutionary soldiers, struggles for national independence and milestones of the province's remarkable development over the past 80 years.

These documents are historical evidence, “telling” historical stories and inspiring today's and future generations.

This year’s exhibition makes a special mark thanks to the smooth combination of tradition and modern technology. The Department is coordinating with the organizers and contractors to install modern systems such as compasses, digital maps, LED screens, 3D models, interactive screens, virtual spaces and AI to create an engaging experience.

In addition, the explanation work is also focused on. “The Department has selected and arranged explanations to introduce at the live exhibition sections, combining English subtitles and a translation headphone system to serve delegates and domestic and foreign tourists,” Ms. Ma Thi Thao informed.

The Tan Trao banyan tree witnessed many important events of the country, especially in the period before the August 1945 uprising. Under this banyan tree, on the afternoon of August 16, 1945, General Vo Nguyen Giap read Military Order No. 1 and immediately after that, the Liberation Army held a departure ceremony, set off through Thai Nguyen to liberate the capital Hanoi, witnessed by the people of Tan Trao commune and 60 national delegates attending the National Congress.

From “Resistance Capital” to a model of sustainable development

The exhibition booth design is a symbolic and highly aesthetic project, carried out by the team of architects of Rong Viet Media and Service Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Hoang Dang Hung, General Director of the company shared: "The requirement is that the exhibition booth must be rich in symbolism and identity, expressing the profound meaning of Tuyen Quang province's important contributions to the National Day celebration on September 2nd."

Inspired by historical architectural heritage, the exhibition hall is designed with a 3D welcome gate simulating the Mac Dynasty Citadel, a national relic of Tuyen Quang. On both sides of the path are models of Mid-Autumn lanterns, representing the famous Tuyen Quang Citadel Festival.

At the center is a model of Lung Cu Flagpole, a symbol of sovereignty and aspiration to rise high, surrounded by the landscape of forests, lakes, and rocky plateaus typical of Tuyen Quang land.

In particular, the performance space will recreate rituals and perform folk arts, creating a "living bridge" between the past and the present.

According to the report of the implementing unit, the floor of the exhibition area was basically completed as of August 12. The period from August 20 to 26 will focus on installing equipment, setting up content, and conducting technical tests to ensure that all elements are ready for the opening ceremony.

The road to Tan Trao today is red with flags and flowers to celebrate the Great Festival.

Tuyen Quang: Endless epic in the heart of the nation

Architect Nguyen Hoang, the main designer, said: “The song about the will, intelligence and aspiration of Tuyen Quang is illustrated with authentic images, documents and the highest effects using digital technology, which will be played in harmony with the heroic song of the Vietnamese nation on August 28 at the National Exhibition Center.”

This is not an exhibition of economic figures or achievements, Tuyen Quang's booth will highlight the strong progress in culture and society: From the modernized education and healthcare systems, to the preservation of traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities.

Visitors will be immersed in the Then, Pao Dung, and melodious panpipe sounds of the Mong people, feeling the uniqueness of the living space, spiritual space, and highland festivals imbued with identity.

Another touching highlight is the ordinary, silent yet great stories about the people of Tuyen Quang.

From engineers and workers applying new technology to production, to farmers who are creative in each crop season; from doctors and teachers who silently care for the health and knowledge of the community,... all demonstrate a resilient spirit, intelligence, and aspiration to rise up and take control of their destiny.

The National Achievements Exhibition is an opportunity for the entire nation to look back on the 80-year journey of independence. For Tuyen Quang, it is also a proud return to the revolutionary roots, the place that used to be the "Capital of the Liberated Zone" and "Capital of Resistance" of the country.

Ms. Ma Thi Thao affirmed: "The exhibition of socio-economic development achievements of Tuyen Quang province on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) is an opportunity to affirm and honor the glorious revolutionary tradition of Tuyen Quang province".

“Affirming the role, significance and important contributions of Tuyen Quang province to the August Revolution and National Day September 2. That is also a great source of inspiration, adding motivation for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province to continue writing heroic pages of history, building the homeland to be increasingly rich, civilized and sustainably developed,” she emphasized.

This exhibition is a rendezvous with history, and also an opportunity to demonstrate the mettle and aspiration of Tuyen Quang on the journey of integration and development, together with the whole country, firmly stepping into the future.
