According to India Today , a recent video of the incident shows two stray dogs chasing a girl, believed to be around 6 to 9 years old, on a residential street in Chitradurga in broad daylight.
The girl tripped as she tried to run away, and the two dogs continued to attack her. They only stopped when locals rushed to her aid. The girl was seen shaking, crying and begging for help.
The girl was then taken to hospital for treatment.
This stray dog attack comes just two days after a similar incident in Old Huballi, where a three-year-old girl was attacked by a pack of stray dogs.
Video footage from the area captured the moment the pack of dogs pounced on the child, biting his shoulders, back, arms, legs and dragging him along the road.
In another incident reported in Telangana in February 2025, a four-year-old child was attacked by two stray dogs near his home in Hyderabad.
The child was playing on the street in Golden Heights residential area, Rajendranagar, when suddenly two dogs attacked the victim.
