On the morning of October 4, at the historical and cultural relic of A Sao communal house, temple, and statue wharf, Quynh Phu district, an incense offering ceremony was held to commemorate the 723rd death anniversary of National Duke, Commander-in-Chief, Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (August 20th lunar month). Attending and offering incense were comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities, and a large number of people and tourists from all over the country.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates offered incense to commemorate the National Duke, General Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.

Duke and Commander-in-Chief Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan was born in 1231. He was a genius, exceptionally intelligent, well-versed in both literature and martial arts; a national hero, a great cultural figure in Vietnamese history. More than 700 years ago, with his skillful command, Duke and Commander-in-Chief Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan led the Vietnamese army and people to fight against foreign invaders, protecting the country's borders and the nation's independence. He died on August 20, Canh Ty year (1300).

The elders in the male sacrificial procession offered incense to commemorate the National Duke, Commander-in-Chief, Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan.

At the incense offering ceremony, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates offered incense, expressing deep gratitude to the ancestors, not only paying tribute to Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, but also remembering and being grateful to the countless heroes and martyrs who fell for the revolutionary cause, for the independence and freedom of the country.

Previously, at the national historical and cultural relic of Dong Bang Temple, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee attended the opening ceremony of the traditional festival of Dong Bang Temple in 2023.

Dong Bang Temple worships the Father King Bat Hai Dong Dinh, who helped King Hung fight foreign invaders, recruit people, establish villages, and build the country and society from the beginning. The temple has an artistic architecture like a wood carving museum. In 1986, the temple was recognized as a national historical and cultural relic. In 2016, the traditional festival of Dong Bang Temple was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The traditional festival of Dong Bang Temple in 2023 takes place from October 4 to 10. In addition to incense offering and worshiping activities, the festival also features folk games such as rowing, wrestling, chess, etc. and art performances.
