At 68 years old, the renowned singer Bao Yen still possesses a resonant, rich, and emotional voice, a voice that has made her one of the most distinctive names in Vietnamese music for many decades.
Appearing in the final segment titled "Love of the Land ," Bao Yen chose to perform the timeless song " Love of Trees and Land" by composer To Thanh Tung. Without needing excessive technical display or elaborate stage setup, her experienced voice and calm singing style captivated the entire audience. Many viewers gave long rounds of applause for the return of a voice associated with the memories of many generations of music lovers.
The True Concert 2026 - Love for the Land is staged as an emotional journey revolving around the image of "land," the source of life, memories, and enduring human values. The program consists of five parts: Fields, Flowers and Fruits, Water, Forests , and Love for the Land, evoking the natural flow from the land that gives birth to life, nourishes people, and then returns everything to its origin.
Under the direction of general director Cao Trung Hieu, music director Thanh Phuong, and choreographer Tan Loc, the performance was closely connected between music, lighting, and body movement... Instead of simply illustrating the story, the dance became an integral part of the narrative, contributing to the emotional impact of each performance.

The atmosphere of the concert became more profound with Phan Mạnh Quỳnh's unique voice and distinctive storytelling through music.

One of the highlights of the program is the participation of many artists from different generations. While Bao Yen brings a depth of memory with her experienced voice, Phan Manh Quynh creates a relatable narrative through his two songs "Hoa Mat Troi" (Sunflower) and "Tu Do" ( From Then On) . Meanwhile, Thuy Chi, Ha An Huy, Marzuz, and the Oplus group bring a more youthful and contemporary feel to the program.
In the " Water" section, Marzuz made an impression with Nguyen Xinh Xo's song "Deep Water ." The unexpected ending, infused with folk elements, gave the performance a soft yet powerful feel. Meanwhile, the collaboration between Ha An Huy and Thuy Chi with the mashup "Sitting Leaning Against the Boat's Edge" and "The One Who Stays, The One Who Leaves" created a dreamy, poetic atmosphere without being overly nostalgic.
Alongside Phan Mạnh Quỳnh, musician Nguyễn Hùng also appeared as both a songwriter and performer. His mashup of "In the Forest," "Miracle," and "5 Fingers " embodies a simple, rustic spirit, like a dialogue between man, nature, and his own inner self.

The versatility of musician Nguyen Hung contributes to enriching the audience's experience in the program.
