After Tet, many people in Hanoi started to play with pear flowers. Along Lac Long Quan street, hundreds of wild pear branches were brought down by traders and displayed on the street. The "muses" of the mountains and forests have a pure, innocent white color, shy in the sunlight.

Many people spend several million dong to own a beautiful pear blossom branch to display in their home after Tet.

According to Mr. The Diep (Hoai Duc, Hanoi), a trader, pear flowers are mainly transported in the form of branches, from the northern mountainous provinces such as Lang Son, Cao Bang , Lao Cai...

"The price of pear flowers has decreased compared to last year. Specifically, beautiful, thick-flowered, well-shaped branches are only 800,000-1,200,000 VND/branch, while large, beautiful branches cost over 3 million VND," Mr. Hiep shared.

Pear flowers are popular with many customers because the plant is durable. The blooming period can last for 1 month, and for those who know how to take care of it, it can last up to 2-3 months. In addition, pear flowers have a fairly simple care regimen, every day, customers just need to change the water regularly and place the plant in an ideal environment .

Another merchant revealed the way to choose a beautiful pear branch: you must choose large flowers with round, thin petals, arranged in thick layers. The branch does not have to be too big, small branches with many buds are the most beautiful.

The vendors set up temporary tents, eat and sleep there to look after and sell pear blossom branches.
