This program is designed specifically for IT students atFPT University, aiming to build a strategic reserve force ready to participate in the implementation of Government Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Dr. Le Truong Tung stated that, structurally, the program is expected to consist of two in-depth modules. The mass training component will be implemented online, using the platform of strategic partner Coursera to maximize the quality of online learning programs. Assessment will be conducted through major assignments (projects), with a grading system and a Coursera certificate certified by FPT University. The program is expected to begin in the summer semester of 2025 with Module 1, and continue with Module 2 in the fall semester of 2025.
The program consists of 8 modules, divided into 2 main content groups:
The first four areas are considered crucial components of the digital transformation ecosystem, including: State management and public administration; Business and organizational management; Digital economy and digital finance; and Customer experience and digital marketing.
The next four topics will be presented in detail through slides, belonging to the core competency group, helping to equip organizations, businesses, and government agencies with the ability to implement digital transformation at the system level.
The training content is designed around the digital transformation ecosystem, encompassing elements of the government, businesses, digital economy, digital finance, and digital marketing. The core competencies will focus on developing the ability to organize and implement digital transformation at the system level – essential for future human resources. All of the above content has been concretized into lectures, ready for deployment to a large number of FPT University students.
The program will be piloted through voluntary student registration, initially for Information Technology students from the third semester onwards who have achieved good academic results in the most recent semester.
Students can participate free of charge, receive certificates after passing a separate accreditation exam to ensure quality, and are included in a list of strategic human resources – ready to meet the needs of government agencies and businesses when necessary. This is not only an opportunity for learning, but also opens many career doors for students, especially the opportunity to participate in national digital transformation projects.
According to Dr. Le Truong Tung, this is the initial experimental phase of FPT University, in which AI is applied to the maximum extent in stages such as content creation, test design, and video production. The entire process follows the guidance of the professional department, with the goal of mastering the technology so that AI performs exactly as required, replacing the time-consuming manual tasks of the past.
“In the current context, we have been overcoming many challenges, and I want to emphasize a major challenge at FPT University – that is, in a short period of time, we must train a sufficiently large workforce to meet the strong transformations that the nation is about to undergo. Training a large number of people is an extremely important challenge, and also one of the key tasks that FPT University has identified,” Dr. Le Truong Tung further shared.
In addition to announcing the supplementary training program for strategic reserve forces to implement Resolution 57/NQ-TW, FPT University signed an agreement to establish and launch the Strategic Human Resources Alliance for the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW with four leading academies, universities, and colleges, including: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Academy of Cryptography; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and FPT University.
The alliance will contribute to building and developing a generation of highly competent, technologically savvy personnel equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, ready to participate in the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW. The academies and universities will sign an agreement to establish and launch the Strategic Human Resources Alliance for the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.
