The Ho Chi Minh City Police cycling team is showing a strong comeback, having secured the runner-up position in the team category at the 38th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup National Cycling Race.
Under the guidance of coach Nguyen Truong Tai, the team overcame many difficulties, including the loss of rider Tran Tuan Kiet due to injury after stage 14. Despite this, the cyclists maintained consistent performance to achieve high results.
Besides finishing as runner-up in the team event, Nguyen Hoang Sang ranked second in the Orange Jersey category, while Robinson Chalapud finished fourth overall. The team continued to demonstrate its strength by leading the overall medal standings at the first Ho Chi Minh City Sports Festival in 2026 with six gold medals, four silver medals, and one bronze medal.
