Accordingly, from May 29th to 31st, 2026, the Fire and Rescue Team No. 9 - Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police, in coordination with the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center, organized a fire safety and rescue experience program, attracting a large number of children and their parents. With the motto "Learning through play - Playing through learning," the program provided an opportunity for children to directly learn, experience, and practice safety skills under the guidance of officers and soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Police.

During the program, the children had the opportunity to visit and learn about the functions and duties of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force; they were introduced to various types of specialized equipment and vehicles used in firefighting and rescue operations. In particular, they had the chance to directly experience using some specialized rescue equipment; practice wearing smoke and toxic gas masks; use fire extinguishers to put out simulated fires; and participate in a smoke evacuation simulation.
Subsequently, on June 1, 2026, Fire Prevention and Control Team No. 19, in coordination with preschool groups in the Dang Xa Urban Area, Thuan An Commune, organized a campaign to disseminate information and provide guidance on fire safety measures for officials, teachers, staff, and children at educational facilities.

During the awareness session, unit officials disseminated legal regulations on fire prevention and control; provided information on recent fire and explosion incidents; analyzed common causes of fires and explosions in schools and households, and discussed effective preventive measures. Simultaneously, school staff, teachers, and employees were instructed on how to identify fire and explosion hazards from electrical systems, equipment, and the kitchen area; the procedures for handling fires; how to use portable fire extinguishers; and how to organize safe evacuation in case of an emergency.
The awareness campaign incorporates visual aids, real-life scenarios, and age-appropriate experiential activities. Children are guided to recognize fire alarm signals, how to notify adults when danger is detected, safe movement skills in the presence of smoke and fire, and to follow teacher instructions in emergency situations.
Through a series of awareness campaigns and practical experiences, officials, teachers, parents, and children have been equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to proactively prevent and handle fire, explosion, and other potential incidents and accidents.
This is a practical activity that contributes to spreading fire safety culture in the community, building a safe and friendly learning and living environment, and raising self-protection awareness among the younger generation.
