Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Director of the Public Service Supply Center of Phuc Hoa Commune, said: “The locality has invested tens of millions of VND to design new box models and print 2,000 boxes to serve the consumption of lychees. On the packaging, in addition to the image of the characteristic lychee fruit and information about the place of production, weight, storage and processing instructions, the commune pays special attention to ensuring the accuracy of details related to the national map in the “Phuc Hoa Early Lychee” logo, avoiding errors that could cause misunderstanding or exploitation.”

This year, following the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, many communes in key lychee-producing areas have proactively developed their own brand identities for their local products. Among them, Tan Son commune has made a mark by incorporating the image of Cam Son Lake with its lush green "lychee islands" on the water's surface into the design of its lychee packaging.
Mr. Vi Van An, Chairman of the Tan Son Commune People's Committee, shared: "Tan Son was formed by merging the former Tan Son and Cam Son communes, and has Cam Son Lake, which is likened to Ha Long Bay in the mountains. Therefore, in addition to promoting lychee products, the locality hopes to introduce the image of Cam Son Lake as a scenic spot, contributing to attracting tourists to the area."
Many cooperatives and households have also boldly invested in product packaging. Typical examples include the Quyen Phong Agricultural Cooperative (Tan Yen commune) and Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong's household in Ngoai village, Nha Nam commune, who have spent tens of millions of dong designing and printing packaging and labels to enhance the value of their lychees.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Xuat, Chairman of the Provincial Consumer Rights Protection Association, in the context of an increasingly competitive market, packaging is not simply a container for products but also a "gateway" connecting producers with consumers. Professional packaging not only protects goods but also conveys the message, cultural values, and reputation of the product, thereby enhancing its competitiveness in the market.
In reality, along with improving product quality, investing in packaging is becoming an effective solution to increase the value of lychees. Each beautifully designed box or carton of lychees not only contributes to building a professional product image but also serves as a way to promote the Bac Ninh lychee brand to consumers both domestically and internationally.
