Investing resources in building rural economic and social infrastructure

(kontumtv.vn) – In recent times, all levels of sectors and localities have implemented investment in building rural economic and social infrastructure in association with the effective implementation of the motto “People do, State supports”, “State and People do together”. In particular, focusing on investing in works serving the essential needs of the people.

Up to now, 100% of communes in the province have asphalted or concreted roads for cars to commune headquarters; 100% of village roads ensure convenient travel all year round; nearly 100% of households have electricity; 100% of villages have electricity. The network ofeducational facilities at all levels has been arranged reasonably. Currently, the province has 196 schools meeting national standards; 97% of villages have village-level cultural houses; 100% of communes have postal service points with staff and Internet connection; the broadband mobile network has covered the village centers in the area; the rate of smartphone subscribers has reached nearly 90%.

As a result of new rural construction, the whole province has 83/85 communes meeting criterion No. 2 on traffic; 85/85 communes meeting criterion No. 3 on irrigation and natural disaster prevention and control; 71/85 communes meeting criterion No. 5 on schools; 80/85 communes meeting criterion No. 6 on cultural facilities; 85/85 communes meeting criterion No. 7 on rural infrastructure; 84/85 communes meeting criterion No. 8 on information and communication./.
