On February 22nd, David Beckham and his co-owners, billionaire brothers Jorge and Jose Mas, of Inter Miami FC announced a partnership with UNICEF aimed at supporting children's education in Haiti, Honduras, Argentina, Mexico, and El Salvador. "Inter Miami fans will be donating to this campaign at Chase Stadium before the MLS season opener (February 23rd)," the Miami Herald reported.

Speaking at the launch of his partnership with UNICEF, David Beckham expressed: "Millions of children around the world are deprived of the right to a quality education. Through my work with UNICEF over the past 20 years, I have seen the difference that education can make for children, their families and their communities."

I am proud that Inter Miami Football Club will support UNICEF in its important mission of creating a more equitable world where children have the opportunity to go to school, receive an education, and reach their full potential."

Meanwhile, billionaire Jorge Mas emphasized: "Since I was a child, I've been taught that education is the key to achieving your dreams. Unfortunately, many children don't have access to the education they need to help make their dreams a reality. By partnering with UNICEF, the Inter Miami Foundation will be able to expand its support for educational programs. Together, we aim to empower children around the world to dream freely."

According to American media reports, the collaboration between Inter Miami and UNICEF will elevate the team's image to a global level. This is the next step in the global strategy that former football star David Beckham has long cherished, after fulfilling his dream of owning his own team once he retires from playing.

Inter Miami FC, with star player Messi and the leadership of David Beckham, is growing stronger and stronger.

To date, David Beckham has transformed Inter Miami into a billionaire club in just over seven years since its founding. The team's value, as announced by Forbes magazine on February 21st, has reached $1.2 billion just before the 2025 season.

Inter Miami ranks second among the top five most valuable soccer clubs in the US, after Los Angeles FC ($1.25 billion). However, in terms of revenue, Inter Miami ranks number one with over $180 million in earnings and operating income of $50 million. Los Angeles FC's revenue reached $150 million and operating income was $12 million.

According to billionaire Jorge Mas: "Inter Miami's value will soon reach a record high of $1.3 billion to $1.5 billion. The Messi effect and the impact he can have on the financial foundation is the team's phenomenal growth over the past few years."

Jorge Mas and David Beckham both believe Messi will activate the contract extension clause to play for Inter Miami until 2026. They also believe he will become a co-owner of the club, thanks to a special clause granting him a significant percentage of Inter Miami's shares after retirement.

Thanks to significant financial growth, Jorge Mas and David Beckham have spent heavily, allowing Inter Miami to strengthen their squad for the 2025 season. To date, they have signed seven new players, with the latest addition being 18-year-old forward Allen Obando from Ecuador, formerly of Barcelona SC (Ecuador).

Messi and Inter Miami will play their opening match of the 2025 MLS season against New York City FC at home at 7:30 AM on February 23rd. Following that, they will face Sporting Kansas City again in the second leg of the first round of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, also at home, at 8:00 AM on February 26th (Inter Miami won the first leg 1-0).
