Many BĐs expressed their trust, excitement and expectation that this humane and practical policy will soon be implemented in Dong Nai .

Parents are excited

Sharing with Dong Nai Newspaper at the weekend, Ms. Tran Thanh Thao (living in Song Thao commune, Trang Bom district) said that she and her husband have 2 children studying in grades 3 and 6. She was very happy to hear that primary and secondary school students will be exempted from tuition fees and will study 2 sessions/day. "My husband and I are workers, our income is unstable, every year we have to worry about tuition fees for 2 children, it is very difficult. Now if tuition fees are exempted and 2 sessions/day are organized, we will worry less about tuition fees and extra classes, and our children will be able to study more fully" - Ms. Thao said.

In the same situation, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh (living in Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa city) confided: “My wife and I work for a company, go to work all day, the most worrying thing is that our child finishes school early and comes home alone. If we study 2 sessions, our child can stay at school all day, and doesn’t have to pay tuition, what could be better. This is a very humane policy for workers like us.”

Facebook account Nguyen Tam wrote: “Hope Dong Nai can do it soon. Wish the children can learn more about skills and sports .”

Expressing agreement with the above policy, Mr. Tran Van Luc (residing in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city) said that, following the information in the newspaper, he learned that recently General Secretary To Lam requested theeducation sector and localities to prepare conditions to teach 2 sessions/day for free at primary and secondary schools, from the 2025-2026 school year. According to him, this is a humane and practical policy. Studying 2 sessions/day is very necessary, because the current program is quite heavy. Children need time at school to practice, review and practice soft skills. Instead of having to study extra in the evening, children will study regularly at school under the management of teachers.

“Free tuition not only helps poor families reduce their difficulties, but also brings fairness among students. In fact, for families with 2-3 children going to school, this is an extremely practical and deeply humane policy,” said Mr. Luc.

Commenting below news and articles about the policy of implementing 2 sessions/day teaching, free tuition in the 2025-2026 school year on Dong Nai Newspaper's Facebook, many people expressed their agreement. "If that were possible, it would be great" - Facebook account Nguyen Thi Hong Nguyet commented.

Facebook account Ngoc Phuong wrote: "I strongly support boarding school, but for primary and secondary school students, we should provide them with additional clubs and life skills to help them practice and gain confidence in a new educational environment..."

Realize the policy as soon as possible

The policy of teaching two shifts a day and exempting tuition fees under the direction of General Secretary To Lam has received high consensus in public opinion. Not only the people, the teaching staff, those who directly implement this policy also expressed high agreement.

Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa, a teacher at Hung Loc Primary School (Hung Loc Commune, Thong Nhat District) shared that most primary school students are often taken home by teachers after school to tutor, mainly to help their parents take care of their children. If facilities are arranged, it will be better for children to study 2 sessions/day at school, giving students more time to study, review, and practice their skills more comprehensively. If the school is properly invested in facilities and human resources, this will be a very important step forward in education. Along with the tuition exemption policy, this is a strategic step to improve the quality of human resources in the future.

Many opinions hope that the policy will be implemented soon, so that people can benefit and contribute to creating a breakthrough in educational development. However, to realize this policy, it is necessary to have synchronous investment in facilities, teaching staff and accompanying support policies. Meanwhile, in Dong Nai, the shortage of schools still exists, especially in Bien Hoa city. BD hopes that in the coming time, the shortage of schools will be improved.

Facebook account Thi Huong Tran said: “Phan Dinh Phung Primary School in Long Binh Ward currently has students only attending one session but still lacks classrooms for grades 4 and 5. For more than 10 years now, every year the children have had to take the bus to another ward to study. I hope this will be improved.”

Besides supporting tuition exemption and organizing 2 sessions/day, the issue that many BĐs are concerned about is how to improve the quality of 2 sessions/day teaching and organize a rich curriculum. In which, it is necessary to organize boarding soon to facilitate both students and parents in the process of picking up and dropping off. "Studying 2 sessions/day but there must be boarding, otherwise it will be very difficult for parents to pick up and drop off 4 times a day" - Facebook account Hieu Dang suggested.
