On the morning of June 25, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Information and Communications held a conference on the application of technology in inspection work. Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of units under the Ministry, officials and employees working in inspection and examination at agencies and units under the Ministry, the Department of Information and Communications; and businesses attending the conference in person and online.
In the inspection work, the Government Inspectorate has been very resolute in implementing, organizing, building and perfecting the Database System on inspection work reports, handling complaints and denunciations, and preventing and combating corruption, and the National Database System on income and asset control, which is being developed according to Decision 390/QD-TTg dated March 28, 2022 of the Prime Minister.
In the information and communication sector, implementing the direction of the Ministry's leaders, the Ministry's Inspectorate is advising on building an inspection database for the entire sector; advising on building a virtual assistant for information and communication inspection work so that relevant agencies and units under the Ministry and the Department of Information and Communication can exploit and use it together, helping to reduce the time spent searching for information, processing work, improving the efficiency of inspection, examination and handling of violations; from these platforms to assess the level of law compliance of organizations and individuals who are the subjects of management, helping to warn of violations and prevent violations.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Information and Communications Do Dinh Ro said: According to the Ministry's Inspectorate Development Strategy approved by the Minister, by 2025, 100% of supervision, 70% of inspection work, 60% of inspection work, and 50% of administrative violation handling work will be done online.
Monitoring results show that units under the Ministry and the Departments of Information and Communications have been determined to implement digital transformation in inspection work, build databases to serve the work, network information security monitoring systems, radio frequency control systems, systems to receive and handle fake news, bad and toxic information... In some localities, the connection of databases of Departments, branches, and district-level People's Committees has been deployed to monitor the provision of online public services. In the inspection and examination work, many stages have been carried out online such as: the process of announcing decisions, meetings, discussions, sharing information, checking, verifying... that has contributed significantly to reducing time and costs for inspections, examinations and in handling violations.

In addition, the Ministry Inspectorate is coordinating with relevant units to build a virtual assistant for inspection activities in the IT&T sector, which is currently in the testing process./.
