Removing difficulties and obstacles
However, there are still some projects that need to be resolved. The Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital project still does not have a detailed plan. The Department of Health recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct departments, branches, and localities to promptly approve the 1/500 scale plan to implement the project on schedule in December 2025. Some projects invested by the Provincial Development Project Management Board are also facing difficulties. The Provincial General Hospital project to become a regional hospital in the South Central Coast is currently slow in land acquisition and site clearance. The Provincial Sports Complex project in Phuoc Dong commune (Nha Trang city) has not yet determined the land location and is waiting for the competent authority to decide.
Meanwhile, the Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel Restoration and Rehabilitation Project is stuck in site clearance, with 6 cases yet to complete verification of legal documents. The relocation of technical infrastructure (electricity, water, telecommunications, etc.) needs to be accelerated. The Committee recommends that the People's Committee of Dien Khanh district direct relevant units to urgently appraise the documents, ensuring the completion of the relocation before May 30 as directed by the Provincial People's Committee. For land and works related to national defense and security, agencies and units need to proactively coordinate with the management unit to promptly complete procedures and hand over the construction site.
Recently, at a meeting with departments, branches and localities on the progress of cultural - social, health and education projects, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested investors to focus on speeding up the progress of bidding, construction, disbursement of public investment capital and site clearance, especially for key projects. In particular, it is necessary to soon start the project of the Provincial General Hospital to become a regional hospital; disburse on schedule the project of the Children's Cultural Palace, supplement the operation and maintenance process after handover; at the same time, urgently deploy the project of the Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital to start construction in December 2025 as planned.
