Method 1: Based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Regulations

- Candidates applying for admission to the University must register their preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's portal or through the National Public Service according to the general plan and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training to be entered into the system for verification and processing. Candidates should select the University's admission code as DCT.
- Minimum quality standards for admission: to be announced according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training and after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam are available from the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Considering high school academic results (grades 10, 11, and 12)

Admission requirements

+ Admission is based on high school academic results from grades 10, 11, and 12, with the average of the three subjects in the admission combination for each major being 20 points or higher.
+ For the Law group of majors, the minimum admission score for Mathematics is 6.0 points and the minimum admission score for Literature is 6.0 points, or the minimum score for Literature is 6.0 points.
This score is for candidates from region 3; regional and preferential points are calculated according to current regulations.

Admission is based on high school academic results from grades 10, 11, and 12, and the average of the three subjects in the admission combination for each major.

Method 3: Based on the results of the 2025 aptitude test of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

Candidates will be selected based on their scores from the 2025 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam, provided that their scores meet the requirements of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam.

The minimum score is 600 points for all majors. However, for the Law group of majors, the minimum entrance quality assurance threshold requires a total score of 720 points, with a minimum score of 180 points in both Vietnamese and Mathematics.

This score is for candidates from region 3; regional and preferential points are calculated according to current regulations.

Method 4: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Object

Direct admission is granted to candidates who meet the eligibility requirements as stipulated in Article 8 of Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated June 6, 2022, and Circular No. 06/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated March 19, 2025, amending and supplementing some articles of the Regulations on university and college admissions for the Early Childhood Education major.

Direct admission is based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 5: Admission based on the results of the specialized aptitude test administered by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in 2025, combined with high school academic results in the subject combinations corresponding to each major.

Admission requirements

Candidates will be selected based on their scores from the specialized aptitude test combined with their high school academic performance. There are no failing grades in the specialized aptitude test.

- The average score for subject 2 corresponding to the admission combination for each major over 3 years must be 20 points or higher.
- Specifically for the Law group of majors, the minimum admission score for Mathematics is 6.0 points and the minimum admission score for Literature is 6.0 points, or the minimum score for Mathematics is 6.0 points, or the minimum score for Literature is 6.0 points.

This score is for candidates from region 3; regional and preferential points are calculated according to current regulations.

1) Selection principles

Candidates applying to a particular major will register to take the corresponding specialized aptitude test and combine it with the scores of the remaining two subjects in their high school academic results, according to the subject combination corresponding to that major.
- Minimum quality assurance threshold for admission: Candidates will be selected based on their scores from the specialized aptitude test combined with their high school academic performance. There will be no failing grades in the specialized aptitude test.

2) Admission score

Admission score = Specialized assessment test score + Average score of subject 1 over 3 years + Average score of subject 2 over 3 years
