Admission method and enrollment quota of University of Labor and Social Affairs 2025

In 2025, the University of Labor and Social Affairs plans to enroll 2,750 students through 3 admission methods.

1) Admission based on high school exam results in 2025

Admission requirements : Candidates have the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and achieve the quality assurance score according to the School's regulations for each subject group/admission exam and for each training institution.

Admission score : From high to low total score, including priority points (if any) until enough students are recruited for each subject group for admission and for each training major.

Admission time: Follow the admission plan of the Ministry of Education and Training and in the 2025 Admission Project or in regular updates on the School's Website.

2) Direct admission according to admission regulations

Object:

- Labor Hero, People's Armed Forces Hero, National Emulation Fighter who graduated from high school;

- Candidates who won first, second, or third prizes in national and international competitions for excellent students organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years from the time of direct admission.

- Candidates who fall under the following regulations, the School will consider and decide to admit them based on their high school academic results (report cards), health status and training requirements. These candidates must take additional courses for 1 (one) school year before officially enrolling. The additional course program is determined by the Principal;

+ Candidates are people with severe disabilities with a certificate of disability issued by a competent authority according to regulations;

+ Candidates are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government and candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region;

+ Candidates with permanent residence for 3 years or more, studying for 3 years and graduating from high school in poor districts (ethnic boarding high school students are calculated based on permanent residence), calculated as of the date of submission of the application for registration according to regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister ;

+ Candidates who are foreigners have the results of the Vietnamese knowledge and proficiency test as prescribed in Article 6 of Circular No. 30/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 24, 2018 regulating the management of foreigners studying in Vietnam of the Minister of Education and Training for consideration and decision on admission;

Target : Head office 10 targets

- Candidates who win prizes in the national excellent student selection exam in subjects that have graduated from high school will be given priority for admission to the School's majors, specifically:

+ Candidates who win prizes in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and English will be given priority for admission to all training majors of the School, including: Economics, Psychology, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, Insurance - Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Economic Law, and Social Work.

+ Candidates who win prizes in History and Geography will be given priority for admission to 2 majors: Social Work and Psychology.

+ Candidates who win prizes in English subjects will be given priority for admission to English Language.

3) Admission based on academic results of the preparatory year at ethnic university preparatory schools

Candidates who have graduated from high school, have studied for 01 academic year at university preparatory schools nationwide and have an average score of 03 subjects according to the combination of subjects registered for admission (as in section 3 above) of the university preparatory year of 18.0 points or higher, including priority points (if any). For English Language (7220201) in particular, the English score must be 7.0 or higher.

The school considers admission from high to low total score until the number of students is sufficient.

Admission time : Candidates complete the admission registration procedure at the university preparatory school where they are studying. Ethnic university preparatory schools submit their students' admission registration documents from March 25, 2025 to 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2025.

(With the admission method based on the academic scores of the preparatory year, candidates still need to register online according to the admission plan on the admission portal of the Ministry of Education and Training. In case the candidate does not register for admission on the Ministry's admission portal, the application will not be accepted).
