The Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has considered the proposal to discipline comrade Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Trach District.
Based on the conclusion on the verification of assets and income of comrade Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Trach District, the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has organized a review, considered responsibilities, and proposed disciplinary action against comrade Huong.
Through review, the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee found that comrade Huong had shortcomings and violations: "false declaration of assets", violating the Regulations on what party members are not allowed to do; the Law on Anti-Corruption and Regulation 69-QD/TW of the Politburo (term XIII) on disciplining Party organizations and violating party members.
The Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee consider and decide to discipline comrade Nguyen Thi Giang Huong according to its authority.
This is a common warning lesson for the staff who are required to declare their assets according to regulations.
It is known that Department 7 of the Central Inspection Committee has requested the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to report on the incident.
Regarding the case of comrade Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, who was said to have been scammed of more than 171 billion VND and reported it to the police and received public attention nationwide, on April 9, at the 15th Conference of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Executive Committee (term XI), Major General Nguyen Sy Quang, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police, said that in the case of the loss of more than 171 billion VND in Nhon Trach district, the criminals used very old tricks but the people involved were not vigilant and updated.
At the workshop on improving the effectiveness of ensuring security and safety of the banking system in the area organized by Dong Nai Provincial Police on May 15, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police Nguyen Manh Toan said that in the case of using high technology to defraud and appropriate more than 171 billion VND in Nhon Trach district, the money was transferred by criminals to many bank accounts.
Also at the meeting, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee considered the proposal to discipline comrade Le Huu Dang, a Party member with Party activities at Ward 5 Party Cell, Trang Bom Town Party Committee, Trang Bom District (former District Party Committee member, former Vice Chairman of Trang Bom District People's Committee, term 2016-2021; former Head of the District Economic Department; former Head of the District Economic Infrastructure Department; former Head of the District Urban Management Department from May 2008 to April 2013.
Comrade Le Huu Dang has shortcomings and violations related to the field of construction order management, causing serious consequences. The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee recommends that the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee consider and decide to discipline Comrade Le Huu Dang according to its authority.
