In 2023, over 1 million candidates nationwide registered to take the high school graduation exam. Of these, 94.51% registered online; 5.49% registered in person; and 48,309 were independent candidates (accounting for 4.71%).
The number of candidates taking the exam solely for high school graduation is 73,232 (accounting for 7.14%); the number of candidates taking the exam solely for university admission is 34,203 (accounting for 3.34%). The total number of candidates taking the exam for both high school graduation and university admission is 917,731 (accounting for 89.52%).
According to the plan, the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced at 8:00 AM on July 18th. The process of recognizing high school graduation will be completed no later than July 20th. The Departments of Education and Training will announce the high school graduation results no later than July 22nd.
The printing and sending of exam result certificates to candidates must be completed no later than July 24th.
