Tonight and tomorrow, due to the influence of the weakening and gradually filling low pressure trough, combined with the weakening of the high-altitude convergence zone, the weather in localities in the province will be cloudy, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, some places with moderate rain, level 2 southeast wind; in highland areas, the weather will be cold at night and early morning, some places with freezing cold.

Widespread thunderstorms are likely to be accompanied by extreme phenomena such as hail, tornadoes, strong winds and lightning. Therefore, local people, especially in mountainous areas, need to be on guard against the occurrence of such natural disasters causing damage. Be alert to localized heavy rains due to terrain conditions that can cause sudden flash floods in small streams, landslides and rockslides in steep terrain.

High mountainous areas ( including districts: Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, Si Ma Cai ) : Cloudy, rain at night and early morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places have moderate rain, Southeast wind level 2, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 20 to 27 ⁰ C, average humidity above 85%.

Lao Cai City : Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, Southeast wind level 2, temperature from 25 to 32 ⁰ C, average humidity above 85%.

Sa Pa tourist area : Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, Southeast wind level 2, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 17 to 24 ⁰ C, average humidity above 90%.

Bac Ha tourist area : Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, Southeast wind level 2, cold at night and early morning, temperature from 20 to 27 ⁰ C, average humidity above 85%.
