On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, Vietnam Heritage magazine in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Heritage Association and the Gen Zi San Media Group (FPT University) organized the Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest 2025, and the award ceremony took place at Ton Duc Thang Museum, Ho Chi Minh City on November 23, attracting many photographers and young people interested in culture - heritage.
With the message "Touch the heritage - feel the uniqueness", this year's season left a strong impression thanks to the creative participation of the Gen Zi San media group - a factor contributing to bringing heritage closer to the young generation.

There were 1,034 entries from 203 authors across the country participating in the contest. The entries reflected the richness of Vietnam’s heritage from many perspectives: from tangible and intangible cultural heritage, customs, traditions, festivals to natural landscapes and community life. This season recorded the widest participation in recent years.

The participation of professional and amateur photographers from across the country creates a vivid panorama of Vietnamese nature and culture.

The interesting point of this year's competition lies in the diversity of the authors' ages: the oldest author was born in 1952, the youngest author was born in 2009. This shows the enduring appeal of photography and its ability to connect generations through heritage stories.

From more than a thousand entries, the jury selected 81 outstanding entries for display and more than 30 entries for awards in two categories: the Gen Z award and the award for photographers of any age. Each category includes 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals and 10 consolation prizes.

One of the distinctive marks of the 2025 season is the participation of Gen Zi San, a group of FPT University media students. With a youthful and creative approach, Gen Zi San contributes to creating a new look for communication work, bringing the message "Touching heritage - feeling unique" closer to young people through digital platforms. Their appearance not only inspires but also opens up a new approach in connecting heritage with the young generation - those who will continue the journey of preserving and promoting Vietnamese culture in the future.
Currently, 81 works selected for the exhibition are on display at Ton Duc Thang Museum, Ho Chi Minh City from November 22 to 30, 2025, within the framework of activities to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day. This is an opportunity for the public, especially the youth, to "touch" cultural values in the most intimate way.
