Hanoi Medical University still leads in admission scores among medical schools in the North this year. Following are the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University.

Northern public medical schools have announced their admission scores for 2025. At the schools, Medicine and Dentistry are still the two majors with the highest admission scores. The lowest majors are usually Nursing and Preventive Medicine.

In 2025, the benchmark score of Hanoi Medical University fluctuates from 17 to 28.7 points. Of which, Psychology in the C00 group has the highest score. Following that is Medicine with 28.13 points, Dentistry with 27.34 points. Majors with 17 points include Preventive Medicine, Social Work, and Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch.

According to the announcement of Hanoi Medical University, this school year, tuition fees for the school's majors are expected to range from 16.9-62.2 million VND/school year, an increase of 1.9-7 million VND compared to 2024.

Hanoi University of Pharmacy: 20-24.5 points

According to the announcement of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, the highest standard score of the school this year based on the method of considering high school graduation exam scores is Pharmacy with 24.5 points. Following is Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 23.56 points. Pharmaceutical Chemistry takes 20.85 points, and Biotechnology takes 20 points.

Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced that tuition fees for new students this year range from 43-59 million VND, an increase of 7-13 million VND compared to last year.

Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 19.35 - 25.33 points

This year, the admission score to Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy ranges from 19.35 to 25.33. The highest score is still Medicine with 25.33 points, followed by Dentistry with 24.63. Preventive Medicine has the lowest score with 19.35 points.

The estimated tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the majors of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy is about 58 million VND/school year; for the majors of Preventive Medicine and Traditional Medicine is about 50 million VND/school year; for the majors of Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology, the tuition fee is 45 million VND/school year.

Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy: 17-24.6 points

According to the announcement of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Medicine major has the highest standard score of 24.6. The Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Technology majors both have 19.5. The Traditional Medicine major has 19, while the Preventive Medicine and Nursing majors have the lowest score of 17.

Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to collect tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year for Medicine, Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy at 55.5 million VND/school year, an increase of 14.2 million VND compared to last year. For Preventive Medicine, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology, tuition fees are 42 million VND/school year, an increase of 10.8 million VND.

Hai Duong Medical Technical University: 21-23.8 points

The benchmark score of Hai Duong Medical Technical University in 2025 ranges from 21 to 23.8 points. Specifically, the benchmark score for Medical Laboratory Technology is 22.6, the benchmark score for Medical Imaging Technology is 22.5; the benchmark score for Medicine is 23.8; the benchmark score for Rehabilitation Technology is 23; and the benchmark score for Nursing is 21.

Hai Duong Medical Technical University plans to charge the highest tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year for the Medicine major at 43.6 million VND/school year. The majors of Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology and Rehabilitation Technology all have tuition fees of about 33 million VND/school year; the Nursing major has tuition fees of 26.6 million VND/school year.

School of Public Health: 18.3-23.5 points

The University of Public Health announced the benchmark score ranging from 18.3 to 23.5. Accordingly, the Social Work major leads with 23.5 points. Following is the Nutrition major with 22.1 points. The Data Science major has the lowest score of 19 points.

Tuition fees at the University of Public Health for the 2025-2026 school year are expected to range from over 18-34 million VND/school year.

The highest admission score to the National Economics University is 28.83. On the afternoon of August 22, the National Economics University announced the admission score to the school according to the university admission methods in 2025.
