The Admissions Council of Can Tho University (CTU) announces the results of the first round of admission in 2025 as follows:

1. Admission benchmark in 2025

The admission benchmark is determined by each admission code, equal among all admission combinations and regardless of the priority order of the wishes registered by the candidate. The admission benchmark is applied to all methods of considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, considering the high school transcript scores and considering the V-SAT scores.

2. Admission requirements:

- Graduated from high school from 2025 or earlier.

- Wish to register for admission on the Admissions Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training and meet the input quality assurance threshold according to the Regulations of CTU (Notice No. 2688/TB-DHCT dated July 18, 2025 of CTU on Input quality assurance threshold for regular universities in 2025).

- The admission score of the application is equal to or greater than the standard score of the corresponding major to be eligible for admission. For the method of considering transcripts or V-SAT test scores, the admission score has been converted according to the Regulations of CTU (Notice No. 2693/TB-DHCT-DT dated July 23, 2025 of CTU announcing the V-SAT score conversion table in 2025; Notice No. 2939/TB-DHCT-DT dated August 13, 2025 of CTU announcing the Academic Transcript score conversion table in 2025).

3. Official admission results:

Each candidate is officially considered admitted to the highest priority wish among the eligible wishes.

The school does not send the Admission Notice to candidates by post. Candidates can look up the admission results and instructions on admission procedures on the website of CTU from August 23, 2025 at https://kqts.ctu.edu.vn (Look up according to the correct ID card/CCCD/DDCN number of the candidate in the Admissions Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training).

4. Admission procedure instructions

To enroll in CTU, successful candidates must confirm their enrollment and complete the enrollment procedures according to the University's regulations, as follows:

- Online admission confirmation: From August 23, 2025 to before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025: Candidates confirm their admission online on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal (https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn). If they do not do so within the deadline, the candidate will be considered to have canceled their admission results and will not be admitted to CTU.

- Admission procedures: From August 24, 2025 to 5:00 p.m. on August 31, 2025, admitted candidates come to the High Technology Building (ATL), Zone II, CTU according to the prescribed time when looking up results to receive the Admission Notice and complete admission procedures according to the instructions when looking up results.

5. Things candidates need to note:

- Once admission is confirmed, it cannot be withdrawn for any reason. After 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025, if the online admission confirmation is not made, it will be considered that the candidate has voluntarily canceled the admission result and will not be admitted to the School.

- Study program at Hoa An Area (major code has letter H): study in Can Tho for the first and final year; the remaining years study at Hoa An Area (Hau Giang Campus).

- Study program at Soc Trang Area (major code has letter S): study final year in Can Tho; remaining years study at Soc Trang Area (Soc Trang Campus).

- For majors with many majors, candidates can choose the major to study when submitting their application for admission.

- The first semester starts from September 8, 2025. The Advanced Program and High Quality Program majors start from September 15, 2025. Students can follow the beginning of the semester activities schedule, timetable and other information on the New Student Website (https://tansinhvien.ctu.edu.vn).

- After successfully completing the admission procedures, each candidate (called a new student) will be given an official email address of the School and a login account for the information systems in the School. Candidates should note to install the MyCTUS application and use it regularly to promptly update information related to activities and studies.

6. Consider switching to the High Quality Program, Advanced Program:

New students who want to study a major in the High-Quality Program or the Advanced Program are entitled to register for admission to transfer to the High-Quality Program or the Advanced Program using Method 5 (See details of Notice No. 2659/TB-DHCT dated July 18, 2025 of the President of CTU on admission to the Advanced Program and the High-Quality Program using Method 5).
