Developments in the case of the 'world's most beautiful woman' being robbed.

In November 2025, singer and actress Nana became the victim of a home invasion in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province. A man in his 30s, identified as A, broke into her home, demanded money, and threatened her with a weapon. During the struggle, Nana and her mother subdued the assailant and handed him over to the police.

According to OSEN , on May 19, the Namyangju Prosecutor's Office recommended a 10-year prison sentence for A for robbery involving injury. The prosecutor emphasized, "The defendant showed no remorse, while the victims suffered severe emotional distress."

During the trial, Nana and her mother testified. As soon as she entered the courtroom, Nana expressed her outrage: "Is this fun? Look me in the eye!" The judges reminded her to maintain decorum, but Nana admitted she found it difficult to control her emotions after the incident.

Defendant A denied the robbery, claiming he only broke in to steal, and asserted that he had apologized to the victim. Nana also shared that the incident caused her psychological trauma: "I felt hurt many times having to go through the lengthy trial."

Previously, the more controversial point was that after being apprehended, the suspect counter-sued Nana, alleging attempted murder and aggravated assault. According to Yonhap , Nana's management company argued that the suspect "exploited the victim's celebrity status" to inflict further secondary harm. The police later determined that Nana and her mother's actions constituted legitimate self-defense and did not prosecute Nana.

Nana also said the incident caused her severe psychological trauma. She questioned why the trial dragged on, why she and her mother had to endure further humiliation, and said she felt like she was being hurt again and again.
