On the afternoon of July 14, a delegation from the General Staff - Ministry of National Defense led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), Deputy of the 15th National Assembly, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, offered incense and visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap and his wife at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Phu Trach Commune, Quang Tri Province. Attending the ceremony was Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien.

In a solemn atmosphere, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son and provincial leaders and members of the working delegation respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a moment of silence to express deep gratitude for the great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap, an excellent and close student of President Ho Chi Minh, a world- famous general.

Next, the delegates came to offer flowers and incense to the grave of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha, wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap. On September 29, 2024, Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha returned to rest in eternal peace with her beloved husband at Vung Chua - Yen Island. Her grave is located on the left side of General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave. General Vo Nguyen Giap and his wife Dang Bich Ha were together for more than 60 years, going through many ups and downs in life. During her time as General Vo Nguyen Giap's life partner, Ms. Dang Bich Ha always silently became a solid rear, accompanying him through the long years of arduous war until the day the country was at peace , until the General passed away.
