Early in the morning, officers and soldiers of Battalion 55, Brigade 972 (Transport Department, General Department of Logistics) were present at Ho Nai station (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai province) to carry out the task of loading and unloading ammunition and supplies for transfer to other units. Although the work was quite arduous, everyone was active and diligent to complete the task well.
Directly commanding and working alongside the soldiers, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Thanh Le, Battalion Commander, said: “The characteristics of a transport unit are quite complex. Whenever we have a task to load, unload, and transport goods, supplies, weapons, ammunition, etc., we must carry it out immediately with the highest level of effort to complete the mission and ensure absolute safety.”

At the same time, agencies and units under Brigade 972 are also urgently preparing for the upcoming VT-23 exercise; renovating barracks landscapes for sightseeing; continuing to implement the "Regularity, Discipline, and Safety" competition; and strengthening specialized training for troops… Colonel Vu Van Nguyen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Brigade 972, shared: “To celebrate the traditional day of the Military Transport ngành (June 18), the unit is promoting comprehensive emulation activities with enthusiastic spirit, creating positive changes in all aspects of work. Each officer and soldier clearly understands their role and responsibility, striving to perform their duties well and contributing to the overall emulation movement of the brigade.”

To concretize the movements and peak emulation campaigns, each sector and unit closely adheres to the characteristics of its professional work to implement them extensively, clearly defining appropriate and effective targets and measures; focusing on breakthroughs in the central political tasks of training, transportation, discipline training, and building a regular system; strengthening competitions and sports events, improving the quality of professional and technical training, driving skills, and the ability of units to coordinate. Among these, the 2023 political instructor competition was one of the highlights. A notable result of the competition was that the staff not only improved their capabilities and qualifications but also learned to creatively apply their knowledge and experience to practice.

In particular, in professional work, a spirit of emulation spread throughout all agencies and units. Cadres at all levels set a good example, diligently guiding soldiers in specific and meticulous practical movements, driving skills, handling situations, and repairing common malfunctions; soldiers, technical personnel, and repairmen actively practiced and applied theory to practice to proficiently use weapons, vehicles, and technical equipment... As a result, the quality of professional training of the brigade has made significant progress; transportation and loading/unloading of goods are safe on waterways, roads, and railways...

According to Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Hoang Huyen, Brigade Commander: Not only are the units competing in professional and technical training, but they are also actively improving the barracks and creating a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment; repairing and constructing basic infrastructure; cleaning public areas; planting trees, ornamental plants, and lawns… to beautify the unit. This positive transformation is the result of the Emulation Movement for Victory, the strength of unity, democracy, and the unanimous determination of officers and soldiers to build a comprehensively strong, exemplary, and outstanding unit.
