Hoa Dien Commune Youth Union gives gifts and organizes a meal to honor families with meritorious services

On July 26, the Youth Union of Hoa Dien commune (An Giang province) coordinated with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) - Ba Hon Branch to organize gift giving and cook meals to honor families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in the commune, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Visit and give gifts to Mr. Duong Van Ba, 51% disabled soldier, Thanh Loi hamlet.

Visiting and giving gifts to the family of Mr. Mac Dang Phu, a disabled soldier with a 61% - 70% disability, residing in Kien Thanh hamlet.

Visit and give gifts to the family of Mr. Vo Van Nam, 21% disabled soldier, residing in Kien Son hamlet.

Union members and young people visited the families to inquire about their health and encouraged them to overcome difficulties in life. At the same time, they presented 4 gifts, worth 6 million VND in total, to: War invalid Vo Van Nam, residing in Kien Son hamlet; War invalid Mac Dang Phu, residing in Kien Thanh hamlet; War invalid Doan Van Huong, residing in Nui Trau hamlet; and War invalid Duong Van Ba, residing in Thanh Loi hamlet.

On this occasion, the union members and young people cooked a gratitude meal at the house of Mr. Vo Van Nam, residing in Kien Son hamlet. In a warm atmosphere, the union members were told by Mr. Vo Van Nam about the heroic memories and the years of arduous fighting. Thereby, fostering the spirit of patriotism, gratitude and responsibility of the young generation in carrying out the work of "Repaying gratitude", showing gratitude to previous generations who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
