Ca Mau's tourism revenue reached over 370 billion VND during the 4-day holiday.

Over the four days from April 30th to May 3rd, tourist areas, entertainment venues, and accommodation establishments in the province welcomed approximately 397,200 visitors, including over 1,900 international tourists, an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period last year. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 372.2 billion VND, an increase of 19.4%.

This year's extended April 30th - May 1st holiday, coinciding with the Science , Technology - Culture, Tourism Week and the first "Delicious Rice of the Mekong Delta" competition in 2026, has resulted in a vibrant tourism season in Ca Mau , attracting a large number of visitors to explore and experience the area.

Ms. Le Huynh Dao, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said she chose Ca Mau for her April 30th holiday because many activities promoting science, technology, culture, and tourism were taking place there. During her trip, she visited Quan Am Nam Hai, Dat Mui Tourist Area, Hoa Binh 1 Wind Farm, and enjoyed many local specialties. Impressed with the unique landscape and culture, she said she would recommend her friends to experience this southernmost tip of Vietnam.

According to Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, prior to the holiday, the province intensified promotion, improved service quality, developed night-time tourism products, and implemented incentive programs to stimulate demand and meet the needs of tourists for sightseeing and experiences.

In 2026, Ca Mau aims to welcome 8.5 million tourists, including 134,500 international visitors, with total revenue of approximately 9,485 billion VND. The positive results during the holiday season, along with promising signs from the beginning of the year, are expected to create momentum for the development of local tourism, gradually becoming an important economic sector of the province, further enhancing Ca Mau's position on the green economic map of the Mekong Delta region.
