The unique culinary parade 'Da Nang Flavors'

As part of the Da Nang Food Tour 2026, the "Da Nang Flavors" food parade officially took place in the My Khe beach area and along the coastal tourist streets of Da Nang.

This is considered one of the most outstanding and innovative activities of this year's festival season, offering a creative approach to promoting local culinary culture by bringing the image of street vendors, their calls, and everyday life into a modern festival setting.

More than just a parade, " Da Nang 's Flavors" is designed as a vibrant cultural experience, where locals and tourists can directly immerse themselves in the street food atmosphere of Quang Nam province. In the sunset over My Khe beach, more than 70 street vendors will carry their wares on foot along the sand, weaving through the crowds with their familiar calls, recreating the rustic images that have been cherished in the memories of many generations of people in Central Vietnam.

One of the most outstanding and innovative activities of this year's festival season offers a creative approach to promoting local culinary culture.

The unique aspect of the program lies in its combination of an art parade and an interactive outdoor culinary experience – a relatively new model at tourism and food festivals in Vietnam today. The festival space is therefore not only a place to enjoy delicious food but also a place where visitors can clearly feel the pulse of local life through the sounds, images, and rhythm of the coastal city.

The program brings together many unique themed food groups such as: Food of Memories, Food of the Countryside, Food of the City and the Sea, Food of the Green Mountains, Food of Three Regions, Food of Five Continents, Food of Refreshing and Sweetness, Food to Take Away… From Quang noodles, Cao Lau, banh xeo, seafood, specialties of the mountains and forests of Quang Nam to Japanese sushi, Mexican tacos or Italian pizza, each “food group” is a distinct cultural slice, contributing to the journey of intersection between local and regional Vietnamese cuisine and the finest international cuisine.

Another impressive highlight of the program is the parade of cyclo rickshaws along Da Nang's coastal tourist streets. These cyclo rickshaws, decorated with food stalls, will travel through many central streets, combined with the characteristic sounds and calls of vendors, creating a vibrant "cultural flow" in the modern seaside city.

Through the "Da Nang Flavors" food parade, the city aims to honor the culinary culture of Quang Nam province in a way that is accessible, creative, and rich in experiences; while also continuing to promote Da Nang as an attractive destination for festivals, events, and cuisine in the region.

The Da Nang Food Tour 2026 is an annual city-wide cultural, culinary, and tourism event, taking place from May 20th to 24th, 2026, at the East Sea Park, Tam Thanh Beach Square, and many other locations throughout the city. It features a diverse range of creative and experiential activities. With many novel and highly interactive activities, the festival is expected to continue making a distinctive mark on Da Nang tourism, while affirming the image of a dynamic, creative, and attractive coastal city on the regional festival and culinary map.
