The historic flood left behind a massive amount of mud and debris, inundating major and minor roads, and numerous houses, gardens, and structures in western Nghe An province, with mud several meters thick in some areas. As soon as the floodwaters receded, units of the 4th Military Region mobilized their forces and worked diligently to clear the mud and debris, reopening roads, cleaning houses, and restoring living and working spaces for the people. Only then could other tasks be undertaken.
