Al Nassr is under a transfer ban imposed by FIFA. |
However, this situation is not unique to Al Nassr. Several other Saudi Arabian clubs are also on FIFA's transfer and player registration ban list, including Al Shabab, Al Riyadh, and Damac.
A Saudi Arabian football legal expert said the ban most likely relates to issues of player wages and payment of expenses, leading to workers suing FIFA and resulting in the organization banning Al Nassr.
Such bans are usually procedural and will be lifted immediately once Al Nassr pays the transfer fees for the players.
