Faker and T1 have arrived in Hanoi.

According to exclusive sources of Tri Thức - Znews , the plane chartered by the organizing unit to bring T1 and Faker to Vietnam landed at Noi Bai Airport at approximately 7:00 AM on December 20th. The plane took off from Incheon, South Korea at approximately 2:00 AM the same day ( Hanoi time). Prior to this, images of Faker and his teammates going through procedures at the terminal were also captured and shared on social media by a Vietnamese fan in South Korea.

The team's flight schedule was not announced by the event organizers in Vietnam. Additionally, T1 used a private entrance at the terminal to travel to the city center. Therefore, fans were unable to greet their idols at the airport. Prior to this, many welcoming programs for T1 had been prepared by fans in Vietnam. Along the route from Noi Bai Airport to the center of Hanoi, numerous banners and LED screens supporting T1 had appeared in recent days.

Projects to welcome idols are primarily funded by community contributions. In a short period of time, groups and fan pages have raised hundreds of millions of VND.

T1 will be in Vietnam for two days. The fan meet-and-greet will take place on the afternoon of December 21st at the VEC Exhibition Center. Accompanying the team will be numerous trophies from tournaments Faker and his teammates have won, including LCK, MSI, Esports World Cup, and Worlds.

The T1 meet-and-greet event has sold over 13,000 tickets, ranging in price from 900,000 to 6 million VND. Most seats are already filled. The event is comparable in scale to a medium-sized music festival, even though the main characters aren't singers or actors. This demonstrates the immense appeal of the most successful esports team in League of Legends history.

Besides meeting Faker and his teammates, VP Bank's event was one of the largest eSports programs in Vietnam. The event brought together many famous and influential figures in the League of Legends game.

In addition to attending in person, T1 fans can watch online through view parties at Lotte Cinema. TheFPT Play platform also streams the show on its app. However, none of these options are free.

During the offseason break, T1 and Faker had a packed schedule of side activities. The Demon King recently had a meeting at the South Korean Prime Minister's office. Following that, he and T1 held a press conference on December 18th to answer media questions about his new contract. On December 19th, the team members attended the LCK Awards.
