In his concluding remarks, Minister Hoang Minh Son emphasized the need for a strong shift from administrative management thinking to governance based on standards and data, with a constructive and developmental mindset as the guiding principle throughout higher education management. According to the Minister, management should focus on core areas such as training program standards, higher education institution standards, and data systems on student enrollment and learning.
Regarding future tasks, the Minister emphasized the principle of "focusing on fewer but more important tasks," concentrating on the strategy for developing higher education and restructuring higher education institutions. The Minister requested continued review of training programs, promotion of internationalization in higher education, and clarification of responsibilities in each task.
At the end of the working session, the Minister emphasized the motto of action for the Department of Higher Education: "Unity and cohesion – Strong acceleration – Substantive results".
