Recently, Mr. Nguyen Hong Phap - Secretary of La Gi Town Party Committee and Mr. Pham Trong Nhan - Chairman of La Gi Town People's Committee had a dialogue with the people of Tan An ward on issues related to urban beautification, environmental sanitation, green, clean and beautiful landscape in the area.
In recent years, La Gi town has made efforts to invest in upgrading technical infrastructure and urban infrastructure; focusing on implementing approved planning projects and the La Gi town urban development program until 2035, completing the criteria for a type III urban area and aiming for a type II urban area. Notably, the transportation system has been basically built synchronously, many roads in the urban area have been built and repaired; sidewalks, trees, and lighting along the roads have received investment attention. All of these have contributed to making the appearance of La Gi town increasingly develop and innovate in a modern, civilized, green - clean - beautiful direction, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
Local people also highly appreciated this dialogue session of the leaders of the Party Committee and the town government and considered this an opportunity to raise existing problems, as well as express their wishes to the local Party Committee and government.
Specifically, people raised the situation of optical cables of network operators being strung and tangled on some roads, causing loss of urban beauty and traffic safety; waste collection activities in some places are not in accordance with the announcement of the waste collection unit and when collecting, not all the garbage left on the road is collected, causing environmental pollution and loss of urban beauty; waste discharge in the Suoi Do bridge area, some flooded areas in residential areas... In particular, many opinions said that the locality needs to continue to recommend the Departments, branches and the Provincial People's Committee to soon invest in and upgrade National Highway 55, the road leading to the gateway of the town - where the traffic volume is increasing day by day, to ensure traffic safety on this route...
After listening to the opinions of the people, Chairman of the Town People's Committee - Pham Trong Nhan expressed his thanks for the valuable contributions of the local people. Thereby, he acknowledged, accepted and directly responded to and discussed most of the suggestions, contributions and recommendations of the people at the dialogue session with a spirit of openness and seriousness.
The town leaders have promptly directed and effectively resolved issues related to urban beautification, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape to serve the needs of the people. At the same time, they have provided additional information on investment and infrastructure construction, contributing to urban beautification; solving environmental issues. Thereby, helping people understand and be more fully aware of the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws, the town's policies in urban beautification, preserving and protecting the environment, green, clean and beautiful landscapes in the area, thereby creating high consensus among the people in implementing the local political tasks, contributing to building La Gi homeland increasingly civilized and beautiful.
