Mr. Vu Trong Hiet, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Quang Ninh Cement and Construction Joint Stock Company : “We need to continue to have open policies and mechanisms to remove difficulties and promote the development of the business community and the private economy .” As a representative of a business operating in the industrial manufacturing sector, I appreciate the groundbreaking policies implemented by the province, from social housing for workers and vocational training support to programs caring for the spiritual well-being of employees. In the context of current innovation and development, the dialogue between provincial leaders and officials, workers, and employees is truly meaningful and timely. Besides listening to and acknowledging the suggestions and recommendations of the workers, the provincial leaders also offered many practical suggestions, removing obstacles in administrative procedures and building a team of qualified officials… aiming to make the private sector operate more effectively and substantially. This significantly contributes to realizing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TU on the development of the private economy; building Quang Ninh province into a model province, increasingly prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and a modern industrial and service province. I hope the province will continue to have open policies and mechanisms for the business community and private economy to develop, as well as to resolve the current difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses. |
Mr. Bui Duc Tung, Chairman of the Trade Union of Yazaki Co., Ltd. Branch: “ We hope the province will continue to pay attention and care so that workers can dedicate themselves fully.” The dialogue between provincial leaders and officials, workers, and employees was frank, high-quality, and effective. The program was truly meaningful, further strengthening the trust of workers in the Party, State, and local Party committees and authorities. Listening to the specific suggestions and directions from provincial leaders and leaders of departments and agencies at the dialogue conference, officials, workers, employees, and business owners received a great deal of useful information and concrete solutions for improving the lives of workers. Adhering to the motto "For the benefit of union members, for the sustainable development of the enterprise," the Company's Trade Union continues to promote and implement the province's policies and guidelines to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of officials, workers, and employees. I hope that the provincial leadership will continue to pay attention to and direct enterprise leaders to support and create favorable conditions for trade unions and grassroots trade union officials to effectively carry out their trade union duties; and to implement solutions to enable workers to dedicate themselves fully and contribute to the sustainable development of the enterprise. |
Ms. Vu Thi Giang, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Vina New Tarp Vietnam Co., Ltd .: "Strengthening the confidence of workers" I have participated in numerous dialogue conferences between provincial leaders. I highly appreciate the organization of these conferences. At these dialogue conferences, provincial leaders, department heads, local authorities, and businesses listened to the thoughts and aspirations of officials, union members, and workers in the province. This allowed them to promptly address concerns and resolve difficulties, helping workers feel secure and committed. Provincial leaders also devoted considerable time to listening to suggestions, proposals, and ideas for the socio-economic development of the province. For workers, this not only demonstrates deep concern and care but also affirms the role of officials, workers, and laborers in the development of their respective agencies, units, and businesses, and the development of the province as a whole. The dialogue further highlighted the role of grassroots trade unions in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, building harmonious relationships between workers and employers, and developing a stable, sustainable, and efficient working environment. |
Mr. Pham Hong Thang, a worker at Nam Mau Coal Company: “The province's care and attention give workers more motivation to stay with the company and the province in the long term.” This was my first opportunity to listen to and engage in dialogue with provincial leaders, and I was deeply moved by Quang Ninh province's concern for the lives of workers and laborers. Through this dialogue, I gained a clearer understanding of the province's investment orientation and policies in building over 1 million social housing units for low-income earners, as well as the approach and necessary conditions for workers like us to have the opportunity to buy affordable housing and secure stable housing. Provincial leaders and relevant departments also offered concrete solutions for developing more public transport routes, especially fixed routes specifically for transporting workers through industrial zones, ensuring safety and cost savings for laborers. These policies demonstrate the practical concern of the province and businesses in caring for workers, helping us truly "settle down and prosper," and giving us more motivation to stay with the company and with Quang Ninh province in the long term. |
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, a worker at Deo Nai - Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company: " Each worker will strive even harder to truly become a core force for the development of the coal industry and Quang Ninh province." Over the past period, coal miners have always received attention and care from the province and TKV (Vietnam Coal Corporation) in terms of working conditions, income, and housing. This is a great source of motivation for workers to stay committed, contribute, and actively participate in production. The coal industry in particular and Quang Ninh province in general are entering a new era – an era of national progress. This requires each worker to constantly learn, research, master technology, keep pace with science , and keep up with digital transformation. At the same time, they must improve their skills related to operating modern mining equipment. In addition, we will continue to innovate, create, and research to propose rationalization initiatives for production linked to the unit's reality, effectively implement emulation movements launched by the unit, trade unions at all levels, TKV, and the province, and uphold the tradition of discipline and unity. Every worker and laborer will strive even harder to truly become the core force for the development of the coal industry and Quang Ninh province. |
Ms. Tran Thi Luyen, a worker at CCTV Vietnam Co., Ltd .: " Many specific activities are being implemented to care for health and ensure occupational safety and hygiene." Quang Ninh has many heavy industries such as coal mining, stone quarrying, building materials production, shipbuilding, cement production, electricity generation, construction, and processing industries. These are strenuous, hazardous, and dangerous occupations and jobs, posing many risks of occupational accidents, diseases, and environmental pollution. In recent times, from the provincial level to trade unions and businesses at all levels, many specific activities have been carried out to care for health, ensure occupational safety and hygiene, and minimize occupational accidents. At our company, the Trade Union regularly collaborates with management to organize free health check-ups and consultations, provide gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, gather feedback from workers on the quality of meals during shifts, provide personal protective equipment, organize occupational safety and hygiene training for union officials and workers, and issue strict production procedures in each department… This contributes to improving working conditions, ensuring worker health, and minimizing workplace accidents. |
