Currently, Vang Danh Coal Company has invested in building a total of 4 apartment blocks, including 2 five-story blocks and 2 four-story blocks, with 216 spacious and modern rooms. Each apartment is fully equipped with amenities such as a TV, air conditioner, and refrigerator, meeting the daily needs of the workers. In addition to providing accommodation, the apartment complex also has a centralized canteen serving the workers. Meals are organized scientifically , ensuring food safety and hygiene, helping workers feel secure in their work and maintain their health after strenuous hours of work underground. Furthermore, green spaces and sports fields for sports such as football, volleyball, and badminton are fully invested in, creating a healthy living environment and fostering camaraderie among the miners.
In the final days of the year, at the K12 workshop's communal living room, plates of fruit and sweets celebrating the New Year were laid out on the table, and the workers chatted lively. Despite being far from their families, everyone felt the warmth and sharing in this meaningful communal environment. Bui Duc Kiem, a 5th-grade furnace worker from Duc Phu commune, Hung Yen province, happily shared: "The company and the workshop have shown us care and provided conditions for furnace workers whose families live far away to live and work in a good, stable environment. Here, we not only have accommodation, but also space for recreation, sports , and a clean, hygienic communal kitchen."

Amidst the springtime conversation, Mr. Pham Khac Hung, a 5/5 grade furnace worker and K12 workshop worker, enthusiastically spoke about his family's three-generation tradition of working at the Vang Danh coal mine. With 21 years of experience, Mr. Hung is one of the most skilled and dedicated furnace workers. “My father, Mr. Pham Khac Sang, worked in mining at Vang Danh Coal Mine for 22 years. I grew up listening to my father's stories about the mines and then followed in his footsteps. Now, my son, Pham Khac Quang, has also been in the profession for almost two years.”

According to Mr. Hung, what makes him and subsequent generations love the profession even more is the significant change in working conditions. Thanks to investment in modern machinery and equipment, the work of miners is now safer and less strenuous than before, with higher productivity, resulting in stable incomes averaging from 20 to nearly 30 million VND per month, making miners more secure and committed to their work. This stability in income and living standards has motivated many young workers to choose to stay in the mining industry in Vang Danh for the long term.
In addition to focusing on production, the company's leadership and the K12 workshop's leadership always pay close attention to the lives of the workers. Policies and regulations are fully and promptly implemented; the living conditions of the workers are constantly improved, especially for miners whose families live far away. Every quarter, the company's leadership also provides gifts to support the living expenses of the workers in the collective housing, which the miners affectionately call "precious gifts."

The joyful atmosphere of welcoming the Lunar New Year at the Vang Danh mine workers' village today is clear evidence of the harmonious development between production and the well-being of the workers. In the lively conversations over the New Year's sweets and treats, and in the excited eyes of the miners, a modern and compassionate Vang Danh emerges – a place where workers can confidently dedicate themselves and have faith in the new springs ahead.
