Dak Ken Border Guard Station rescues woman lost in the forest

On October 13, Dak Ken Border Guard Station, Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command, said that the unit had just found a lost woman in a state of hunger and panic.

Previously, at 4:15 p.m. on October 11, 2025, while patrolling and controlling the border area managed by the unit, the Dak Ken Border Guard Station Patrol Team discovered a woman lying on the side of the road in a state of fatigue, exhaustion and signs of unconsciousness. The patrol team quickly performed first aid; at about 5:00 p.m., the victim gradually regained consciousness.

Ms. L was found and handed over to her family after 4 days of being lost.

Through verification, the victim was Ms. HTYL (born in 1988), residing in Dak Loc village, Thuan An commune, Lam Dong province. According to information from her family, Ms. L got lost in the forest and lost contact for 4 days before being found. Relatives organized a search but to no avail.

After the successful rescue, Dak Ken Border Guard Station handed over Ms. L to her family to take her to Thuan An Commune Medical Center for continued monitoring and health care.

Through the above incident, the Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard Command recommends that people do not enter forests in border areas without permission; do not go to the forest alone, need a guide, bring communication equipment, necessities and inform the family of the schedule to prevent risks.
