
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Mr. Phan Dinh Khiem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union said: Through the training course, trainees will be guided on how to use the traceability system, practice building and developing product brands on other social networking and e-commerce platforms. At the same time, this is an opportunity for cooperatives to exchange experiences, debate, as well as share difficulties to jointly overcome in the process of implementing and applying digital transformation in production and business. Thereby, it will help cooperatives get acquainted with new business forms, together creating a strong and modern ecosystem of agricultural products and local goods, moving towards linking cooperatives in the region and nationwide.


At the training course, delegates listened to Ms. Pham Thi Xuan - Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development and Digital Economy convey some key contents such as: Skills to access information technology applications, digital transformation in production and business activities of cooperatives; Building and developing brands for cooperative products and production households; Tracing the origin of goods; Completing product profiles according to the National OCOP criteria set according to new regulations in 2023; Skills to manage e-commerce booths - doing business on digital platforms, and at the same time, guiding the operation of online product market booths. In addition, it also guides cooperatives on the process of registering, enforcing and protecting intellectual property rights according to the Intellectual Property Law 2022.

Delegates discussed enthusiastically, raising difficulties and obstacles in the actual operation of cooperatives, especially the issue of exporting agricultural products through official channels which is still a barrier, many products want to enter supermarket systems in big cities but encounter difficulties in procedures, or the situation of heavy dependence on the Chinese market makes agricultural product prices unstable, especially dragon fruit...

Through the training course, the lecturer answered a number of questions, thereby cooperatives in the province will have a clearer view of the benefits of applying e-commerce to their production and business activities. From there, they can link production, promote trade, advertise and consume products as well as improve the quality and economic value of products.
