Simplifying administrative procedures in the performing arts sector under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism

On September 23, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 3394/QD-BVHTTDL approving the plan to simplify administrative procedures in 2025 in the field of performing arts under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Pursuant to Circular No. 02/2017/TT-VPCP dated October 31, 2017 of the Minister, Head of the Government Office providing guidance on administrative procedure control; Decision No. 47/QD-BVHTTDL dated January 10, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgating the Plan to review and evaluate administrative procedure regulations in 2025; At the request of the Chief of the Ministry's Office;... The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has approved the plan to simplify administrative procedures in 2025 in the field of performing arts under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Administrative procedures in 2025 in the field of performing arts under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the simplified plan include: Procedures for organizing performing arts within the framework of international cooperation of specialized associations on performing arts under the Central Government, public service units with the function of performing arts under the Central Government; Procedures for organizing national and international competitions and festivals of specialized associations on performing arts under the Central Government, public service units with the function of performing arts under the Central Government; Procedures for organizing performing arts in the management area (not in the case of within the framework of international cooperation of specialized associations on performing arts under the Central Government, public service units with the function of performing arts under the Central Government); Procedures for organizing competitions and festivals in the management area (not including national and international cases of specialized associations on performing arts under the Central Government, public service units with the function of performing arts under the Central Government).

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Department of Performing Arts to coordinate with the Department of Legal Affairs and relevant units to: Implement in accordance with the content and time limit prescribed in the plan to simplify administrative procedures in 2025 in the field of performing arts under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved in Article 1 of this Decision. Amend and supplement according to authority or submit to competent authorities to amend and supplement regulations and administrative procedures in legal documents approved in Article 1 of this Decision.

At the same time, the Ministry's Office is responsible for inspecting and urging the Department of Performing Arts and relevant units to implement this Decision.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation. The Chief of the Ministry Office, the Department of Performing Arts, the Director of the Legal Department and the Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
