On the same day, the Naval Region 2 Command organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program with the theme "Dad at the rig - Children at home have friends" for the children of officers and soldiers of Brigade 171, Battalion DK1 and children sponsored by the unit.

The children were immersed in the bustling atmosphere with lion dance performances, folk games, interacting with Uncle Cuoi, Sister Hang and especially receiving Mid-Autumn Festival wishes from soldiers of DK1 Platform via online video conference, creating emotional and warm moments.

In addition, on this occasion, units in the entire Naval Region 2 organized many practical activities, giving more than 1,300 gifts with a total value of over 150 million VND to children of officers, soldiers and children in difficult circumstances. The gifts, though simple, contained the love, sharing and deep concern of the marine soldiers for the "little rear" - a great source of spiritual encouragement for officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind and hold their guns firmly on the front line of the Fatherland.
