Patient PAĐ.Q,. (43 years old, residing in Vung Tau ward) was taken to the emergency room at Vung Tau General Hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, deep coma due to ventricular fibrillation and acute myocardial infarction.

Immediately after being transferred to the Emergency Department of Ba Ria General Hospital, the patient had a second cardiac arrest.
Once again, doctors raced against time, persistently performing CPR until the patient's heart started beating again.

The patient was then taken to the coronary intervention room. The coronary angiography results showed that the left coronary artery was severely narrowed. Doctors at Ba Ria General Hospital successfully placed a stent to re-open the blood vessel, helping blood return to the heart. The patient was conscious, extubated, recovered positively and was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for further monitoring and intensive treatment. Here, after consultation, doctors placed an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) to prevent dangerous arrhythmias in the future.
After a period of treatment and active monitoring, the patient's health fully recovered and he was discharged from the hospital.
