On the evening of November 22, Khanh Hoa General Hospital announced that it had performed a special delivery amid the complicated flood situation in Nha Trang.

The incident took place the same afternoon at the Olympic Hotel (Nha Trang ward), where dozens of people were taking temporary shelter from the flood.

When the pregnant woman suddenly showed signs of labor, the hotel manager immediately contacted Khanh Hoa General Hospital for support.

Upon receiving the news, regardless of the rain and flood, the medical team quickly arrived to assist.

Right at the temporary accommodation area, the team implemented professional procedures and successfully and safely delivered the mother.

The baby was born healthy and happy to everyone. Immediately after, the mother and baby were transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for further care and intensive health monitoring.

Hospital representatives said this was one of the special cases, demonstrating the spirit of on-call duty and flexibility of the medical force, to ensure maximum safety for people during the unpredictable rainy and flood days.
