Comrade Trinh Viet Hung holds the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department, announced Decision No. 1369-QDNS/TW, dated July 12, 2024, of the Politburo approving the appointment of Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, as Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Presenting the Politburo's decision, congratulating Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, and giving his remarks at the ceremony, Comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that the new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee is a young, well-trained cadre; he has risen through the ranks from the grassroots level and held many key leadership positions. In every position he has held, he has demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, strived diligently, dared to think and act, and successfully completed all assigned tasks, earning the trust of the Politburo and being entrusted with this new important responsibility.

Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that, in his capacity as the head of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Trinh Viet Hung should continue to be the center of unity and cohesion, focusing on leading the development of Thai Nguyen province to achieve even greater achievements in socio -economic development; national defense and security; Party building and the construction of the political system.

The Head of the Central Organization Department expressed his admiration for the indicators regarding investment attraction, especially foreign direct investment; and the high ranking of Thai Nguyen province in digital transformation nationwide. Thai Nguyen province needs to continue to do well in implementing planning, leveraging its advantages to promote socio-economic development; clearly demonstrating its role as an economic center of the northern midland and mountainous region, and an important growth pole for the Hanoi Capital Region.

Focusing on effectively building the Party and a clean and strong political system from the grassroots level; organizing the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term well, with an emphasis on developing long-term strategies and visions for development, is one of the requirements of the Central Committee for the next term.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Trinh Viet Hung thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for their trust in assigning him this new task. As the head of the Provincial Party Committee, he deeply understands that this is both an honor and a great responsibility before the Central Committee of the Party, the Politburo, and the Party Committee, Government, and people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province.

Comrade pledged to continuously cultivate, study, strive, and train himself, upholding the role and responsibilities of a leader of the Party committee, fulfilling the exemplary responsibilities of cadres and Party members; together with the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee, to continue to uphold the tradition of unity, strictly adhere to the Party's principles; and inherit the achievements and lessons learned from previous terms of the Provincial Party Committee to continue developing Thai Nguyen.

On this occasion, Comrade Le Minh Hung, along with the delegation from the Central Committee and Thai Nguyen province, offered incense at the historical site commemorating the 60 young volunteer martyrs of Company 915, Team 91, Bac Thai, and at the Traditional House within the Provincial Party Committee's premises.
