Launching a vocational training and job placement counseling center for young people.

1. Ms. Le Thi Hong Ket, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Youth Union in the province, stated: "During the past term, the Youth Union at all levels in the province has intensified propaganda efforts to raise awareness about careers and employment for young people. The Youth Union has organized many career counseling and guidance activities for young people, especially those in rural areas and schools, helping them to have a correct understanding of labor and careers, and to choose suitable professions. During the term, the Youth Union at all levels organized 595 career counseling and job placement activities for 137,951 young people, with 62,875 young people finding employment."

In addition, the Youth Union at all levels also pays attention to activities supporting disadvantaged youth groups to have opportunities for development in residential areas, building many models to support disadvantaged youth and reformed youth in reintegrating into the community.

Youth Union branches at all levels have promptly and proactively approached, investigated, and supported young people showing signs of violating the law or those who are underperforming; they have also provided counseling, job placement services, and created employment opportunities for unemployed and underemployed young people in rural and urbanized areas. During the term, they assisted 62,875 young people.

Organize mobile job fairs and introduce job opportunities to young people.

In particular, the Youth Union at all levels organized 87 activities to support 805 ethnic minority youth and young religious followers in establishing themselves and their careers . At the same time, the Youth Union and Youth Association at all levels implemented and maintained 629 models to support disadvantaged youth, such as fattening buffaloes, the 2,000 VND wheel project, and the "Lighting Up Hope" club, etc.

2. Activities supporting young workers are also given attention and implemented by all levels of the Association in various forms, such as health and legal counseling, income and expenditure management skills training, knowledge about love, marriage, family, and reproductive health; cultural and artistic exchange programs, sports activities, and price-stabilized sales for young workers. These include regularly organizing activities such as the Young Workers' Day; providing Tet (Lunar New Year) support for young workers; singing contests for young workers;... contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of young workers.

Youth Union and Association branches at all levels also pay attention to training activities, transferring science and technology, and introducing good models in production and business to young people. The Vietnam Youth Union of the province, in coordination with Youth Unions at all levels, organized 350 training courses on family economic development, livestock and crop conversion, and science and technology transfer, with more than 9,500 rural youth participating.

Over the years, the Provincial Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union of the province, in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the Business Support and Research Center (BSA), have organized training conferences, startup seminars, and business start-up programs in Tan An City, Duc Hoa District, and Can Duoc District. The collective economic models of young people are operating increasingly effectively.

Youth organizations in the province proactively coordinate with the Youth Union at the same level and relevant units to support young people in developing their businesses with capital from the National Employment Fund (Fund 120) and funds from the Social Policy Bank. The entire province is currently managing 885 million VND of Fund 120.

During the term, the province organized 4 rounds of the "Long An Province Innovative Startup Ideas" competition; introduced 12 ideas and models to participate in regional and national competitions; and coordinated with the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association to support 6 startup models to be put into practice and become increasingly effective,...

Some typical models include: Greeny Green Drying, HP Long An Cordyceps products, Hoang Ngoc Ginseng, and products from sedge grass - Mien Tay Xanh,... After winning awards at provincial-level startup competitions, they were connected by the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of the province to join the Provincial Startup Investment Club, expanding exchanges, investments, collaborations, sourcing raw materials, finding markets, participating in exhibitions and trade promotion events inside and outside the province, and receiving support to bring their products to e-commerce platforms.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Ket further stated that the support and companionship activities of the Youth Union at all levels in studying, establishing themselves, and starting businesses have created an important stepping stone for each member and young person to cultivate and improve their knowledge, thereby contributing to enhancing the role and position of the Youth Union organization and affirming the power of youth in the era of industrialization and modernization.
