Going from street to street, knocking on every door.
The image of police officers from Phu Ho commune "going door to door" in every hamlet to help people integrate their social security accounts into the VNeID application has become familiar to many local residents. Mr. Dang Van Huy (a resident of Phu Ho commune) said that his parents are elderly and rarely use smartphones, so the police patiently guided them through each step, from account verification to linking health insurance information.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Thanh Binh, Head of Phu Ho Commune Police, reported that the unit has actively implemented many activities to support people in integrating social security accounts into the VNeID application. Commune police officers have coordinated with community digital technology teams to go to villages and residential areas to guide people in installing and activating level 2 electronic identification accounts, and to assist in integrating health insurance, social insurance, and non-cash subsidy accounts.
For the elderly and those with limited access to technology, the police directly demonstrate and guide people step-by-step to make it easy for them to use. In parallel with direct activities at the grassroots level, the Phu Ho Commune Police also promotes awareness on social media platforms such as Facebook and Zalo through articles, short instructional videos, and visual infographics to help people understand the benefits of integrating social security accounts into VNeID, contributing to promoting digital transformation and improving the quality of service for local residents.
In remote and isolated communes, police officers from Hue City regularly trek through forests and streams to support people with social welfare policies through the VNeID digital platform. In areas with limited resources such as A Luoi and Nam Dong, young officers must be even more patient, meticulously guiding people through every small step to help them become familiar with the application interface.
In Khe Tre commune, local police forces have actively propagated and guided people to register and use social security accounts on VNeID. Police officers have organized numerous visits to individual households to provide direct support, while also intensifying dissemination through 19 village Zalo groups to make information more accessible to residents.
Many amenities
Over the years, social security policies have always received special attention from the Party and the State, especially during periods requiring widespread support. However, traditional cash payment methods often reveal shortcomings such as lengthy verification processes, time-consuming compilation, and the need to organize direct payments.

According to information from the Administrative Management and Social Order Police Department of Hue City Police, integrating social security accounts into the VNeID application is a popular and widely used utility aimed at helping people fully and promptly benefit from the social security policies and programs of the Party and the State. At the same time, it contributes to simplifying administrative procedures, improving payment efficiency, ensuring transparency and security in the implementation process; affirming the social security rights of citizens with the spirit of "leaving no one behind" in the digital transformation process.
Following the directives of the Hue City Police Department, police in communes and wards have proactively coordinated with local authorities to conduct numerous campaigns to educate and guide people on integrating their social security accounts into the VNeID application. Support has been provided flexibly in residential areas, community centers, and directly at people's homes, especially for the elderly or those with limited access to technology. The City People's Committee has also assigned the Hue City Police Department to monitor and urge units and localities to strengthen the dissemination of information and guidance to ensure people comply with regulations, guaranteeing effectiveness and practicality.
Bringing social security services to a digital platform not only shortens procedures and saves time for citizens but also demonstrates innovation in serving the people. From trips to individual villages and households by local police forces, social security policies are being connected more closely to the people through digital technology, in a faster, more convenient, and more transparent manner.
